Is your portfolio safe? Probably not...don't worry here's what you do

Updated: Feb 5, 2021

I wrote this one for an IG influencer who had a cool little investing program. What was the cool thing about it? Good Q.

Well, it wasnt...

Day trading

Options trading

Shorting

Forex trading

Nope.

IT was good ole' fundamental evaluation investing baby.

My favorite. And the same way I invest.

Anyways....I wrote this for him as an example and he liked it but he didn't really have a big list or he already had a guy...forgot which it was.

Enjoy.

Subject line: The secret behind the numbers nightmare

The success or failure of your next investment lies in that mass of numbers.

Financial statements can be scary, {Name}

Your first time looking over a balance sheet can remind you of 9th grade Trigonometry all over again...or the first time you tried doing taxes on your own.

Both major pains in the a**

But these executives and their accounting hordes do this on purpose.

They don’t want you to easily decipher what's really going on.

They’d rather have you listen to the hype on CNBC, Instagram, YT, or your latest investing “guru”.

They want your money, and they’d rather let some sleezeball on network television do the hard selling.

But that’s like letting the guy at the used car lot down the street sell you on a 2008 Jaguar X-Type that makes the sound of a tortured squirrel and has 190K miles.

Nobody buys a car from that guy.

So why would you let him sell you a stock?

Lucky for you; you don’t have to.

Cue the: financial statements.

Looking over financial statements is what guys like Warren Buffett, Ray Dalio, Benjamin Graham, Paul Tudor Jones do to invest in healthy companies..and make billions in the process.

Now I’m not saying you’re going to make billions. At least not yet.

But doubling or tripling your investment isn’t unheard of when you choose the right companies.

You can listen to CNBC, YT gurus, Instagram pages, your next door neighbor, that guy talking about stocks on the subway...but this is like buying a car from the sleazy used car salesman.

Understanding how to read financial statements rescues you from having to worry about being duped. All the answers are in those numbers..

But they can be tough to read. And they will intimidate you the first time you read them. And learning the right ratios and things to look for can be stressful. And figuring out which statement tells you what you need to know can be frustrating. And finding places that show the correct statements can be time consuming. And you will get a headache trying to figure it all out on your own.

So why am I telling you this?

Because I want you to be able to pick the right stocks to invest in.

And this means learning how to read financial statements, and avoiding the gurus and prophets.

Imagine using the same techniques as legendary investor Warren Buffett. Being able to see what he sees in a company. Feeling confident as you look over a company, and have an objective answer to whether you should invest or not. No more leaving it up to chance. Being the first one to tell your friends and colleagues about a stock, or how you invested in ABC corp. when it was trading at $5, or how you avoided XYZ corp as everyone you knew dumped thousands of dollars into it because they listened to an oversized suit wearing investment guru on everyone's favorite network business channel.

If you want to stop listening to gurus and leaving your money up to chance , then check out my stock valuation tool.

In it I’ll show you all the things to look for, how to read the financial statements, and the ratios the greats use to properly value a company.
