It's December 21st.
You're in your living room with a fresh cup of coffee. Pen in hand, paper on the table, and your mind is exhilarated. You're thinking of all the goals you want to accomplish in the new year.
You write them down. You make em' pretty, you make em' neat. Perfect. Your goal list is complete.
You confidently walk to your room and post your goal sheet right on your bedroom wall.
Fast forward to January 17th.
It's 9:15am in the morning and you're deep asleep. Your goal sheet is twinged yellow, and slowly waving back and forth as it hangs by one unsticky peice of tape. On it, the first line reads: "Get up at 6:00am every morning!"
This happens to the best of us. 80% of new years resolutions fail by the second week of February. (Great time to hit the gym by the way)
I wrote this for a list asking them to give me their biggest struggles with accomplishing their goals.
With a little story about my friend. An uplifting story actually. Take a look.

Sub line: Read this if you're having trouble with your New Year Resolutions
Hey {name},
A couple weeks ago my friend told me a New Years resolution story about his friend.
One of his friends was a skinny dude. One of those “wiry” types.
You know the type...
Can eat a tub of butter pecan, wash it down with a 2 Liter of Mountain Dew and wake up in the morning looking even skinnier than they had the day before...
Anyways, the guy looked like he was allergic to lifting weights. Nothing wrong with that...he just needed to put some meat on his bones.
And the guy knew this. He really wanted to start hitting the gym. It was his New Year's resolution actually…
But when the day came to start hitting the gym...his friend tried every trick in the book to get out of it…
“Ahh I can’t man- I have to study”
“Todays not the best day man I’m feeling a little low on energy”
“Oh you meant today? Ah dude I already made plans!”
“Leg day?? Didn’t I tell you I was hiking tomorrow?”
“Can’t dude- It’s my gerbils anniversary and you know how important this day is to her”
But my friend was persistent. He’d call him every time he was headed to the gym. He’d text him every night before a session. And, he’d even stop by his house to bring the motivation to him.
Long-story short- his friend now weighs 190lbs (a gain of 35lbs), just bench pressed 205lbs for the first time, and fills out a slim fit t-shirt almost as well as Brad Pitt...almost as well ;)
He recently told my friend if it weren’t for his constant support his new years resolution would have gone nowhere.
He helped push him through the tough times, consistently reminded him of his goal, and acted as a mini support system to reinforce and remind him of all his hard work.
Now his friend doesn’t need the motivation to continue improving on his body. The boulder is rolling fast and no longer needs the help and support to keep it going.
But at the beginning of any goal…
It feels like you’re trying to move a mountain without the right support in place.
Why am I telling you this?
Because I want to be here for you and provide any support I can with your goals.
If you’re anything like me...you surely have some...and I’d love to hear what they are.
Writing down and manifesting your goals can help you make them a reality.
So reply back to this email and tell me some of your goals for this year…
It doesn’t even have to be {niche} related...I’d still love to hear from you :)
Look forward to reading all your goals.
Talk soon.
